Flash animations - good er bad

so we all know they look reel purty....but should one assume that a surfer has got the player installed and/or cares to wait for something to DL is he's on dial-up?

i've got some flash knowledge from doing mainstream sites and games, but are adult surfers totally ready? I noticed quite a few new paysites are starting to use 'em....

opinions???

If you want my opinion i'll say it can be interesting...cuz a flash site is not to complicated to understand...images cannot be save on hard drive except by a printscreen (customers will have to come again to see these pics). And some recent studies shows that more than 80% of cpu have the flash plugin. So it can be a good idea... And theres all the dynamic side of it...

Anyway I think flash could be a very good idea!

it's a toss up......for the general public....keep it simple.....for your own site....give an option for either

its slow, gay and not everyone supports it.
