Where to find models?
Anyone who knows a good place to find girls for shoting photo/vid sets? I want to shot the sets myself, or better let my team do it. Also, anyone with experience from doing this outside the US?

There are different ways, you can contact agencies, other photographers, or you can contact the girls directly or thru paper magazine etc etc -

I have excellent luck with Onemodelplace.com. Work with a few of the models regulalry. There are many protections in place to keep posers from spamming every hot model with erotic or adult actress checked in their profiles so don't think it's an open door to chicks. The gals I have worked with (and contacted but not worked with) have all been professional and have managing parties, etc. My primpary model is #3708. If you try the site, you can do a quick search by model, just enter the 3708, photog or even a state/city search.

We've been using OneModelPlace for about 6 months for recruiting new adult talent.
Have no had much luck...
Can anyone give any tips on how to flush out the models that are interested in adult? --- mainly when they dont have any of that checked.
Also... Just some general ideas/tips on How to Convert these models? (so to speak)

Six months with an OMP membership and I finally bagged one willing to work... seems many of the models either don't check their email or don't need the work.
Many photogs on OMP will pay the girls to shoot non-nude stuff, so I get the hunch they aren't too overly eager to do adult.
I've had better luck with print ads in college papers.

the best models are not found on so-called "model sites".
and the girls that check the "will do adult" box usually look pretty high mileage and hard up close. today's hi-rez cameras show clearly if the girl is 25 or 18, and the female body does not photograph so well after about age 23-24. sorry, but that's the fact.
if you want to shoot more girls than you can ever afford to hire (you will run out of $ before running out of avail girls) hire a commission only female recruiter. ( i pay her 100 per girl shot)
the recruiter girl should show well, ideally be a college student, be gregarious and hangout in the dance club scene.
this girl recruiter carries with her a compact digicam that works good in low light (my gal uses a canon G1) and she should have internet access and know how to email a jpg.
your recruiter should look fairly mainstream (somewhat conservative).
the recruiter sees a girl that might have what it takes and approaches her, tells the prospect she's a photographer's rep and asks the girl's age (if the girl replies anything less than 18 she is told that she must be 18) if the girl is over 18 and interested the two chat and determine if there might be a recruitment. Your recruiter will have a small portfolio of your work (we use a standard binder with plastic 8.5x11 sleeves of inkjet prints---it is classy nudes, but not hardcore---no company name is shown at this point). If response is favorable, fees are discussed, and the girl fills out a short questionnaire, and we contact her later.
The potential prospect is thanked and only given a business card with the recruiter's name and phone number (not company name).
The recruiter takes a couple quick candids with the G1 and emails them to me, and I say yeah or nay.
Once you work with the girl and she has a favorable modeling experience invariably she tells her friends about you and girls call you, you don't need to call them.

stick with a good adult agency.
