    Newbie needs ? answered please

    I've been doing adult sites now for a few months, and haven't posted much, mostly lurked and tried to figure things out myself. However i can't figure out how you guys find what the PR of your site is. Could somebody please explain or tell me how and where to find this information out? Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

          Ok i looked at it, but didn't download it. What does that do for me by downloading the google toolbar? Does it give me better rankings or how does it work?

              All the goolge toolbar does is display a sites PR, without it you can't really tell what the PR of your site is.

              You can check your PR without out it, go to http://www.bannedstuff.com bottom left hand corner enter your URL in the box click and wait.

              The toolbar is a must have mate, it has no spyware shit or anything like that.

                  Thank your for the explanation DarkHorse. So i assume a PR rank of 10 or 10/10 is the best?

                      One more question, how do i raise my PR? Amount of Traffic + Number of sites linking to me? I have a site that is PR 0, but it gets over 20,000 unique visitors per day. Not sure i understand why PR is so important.

                          The higher your PR the higher you are in the google listing for the keywords your indexed under.

                          Building up PR can take time. Make sure your page is keyword rich. Be sure your alt tags are keyword rich. Try to trade hard static links with other pages with high PRs.
