    capturing images from video

    I was wonder what software you would use to capture still pictures of a video file print screen doesn?t work so could some one please tell me what software is need to do this or how to do it

              I use Pinnacle but you could use any video capture software for it.

                  virtualdub as already posted.

                  tmpegenc can take from the whole movie at once.

                  snagit is what I prefer myself, you can choose the intervals yourself... take a shot each 10 sec or so.
