Its pretty easy to replace a laptop HD, but it depends on the laptop.
Most new laptops are pretty easy.

If you tell me what kind of laptop, I can probably tell you where to begin.
SIG TOO BIG! Maximum 120x60 button and no more than 3 text lines of DEFAULT SIZE and COLOR. Unless your sig is for a GFY top banner sponsor, then you may use a 624x80 instead of a 120x60.

yeah you just got to get the case apart most hard drives reside under the keyboard on the laptop or pretty much center of the unit should be a pretty simple task

It's a sony vaio pcgfx370. I just have never heard of anyone replacing a laptop hard drive before, most people I know throw the whole thing away and get a new one.

For sony support they want me to send it to them. (Yeah, right!) The help is appreciated.

Sony's are easy at least with the FX210s. There are like 4 scews. and then the hard drive craddle. Just start taking it apart and remember where everything goes. You will do fine.
