We have 2 cardservice accounts moto and online. We were informed by cardservice international today, that due to the fact our retail site shows explicit material on dvd covers, and certain links to other adult sites, we must re-register as a high risk merchant, which will cost us and additional 2k on top of the nearly 1k we have already spent to get our accounts. Not to mention an additional 3month re-approval proccess.
They say we can blur out the pink, and remove all outside links, and we MAY meet the criteria, until then our linkpoint system has been disabled.
Shouldnt our account have been grandfathered, due to the fact we were proccessing before the law came into effect? I get conflicting answers from people at cardservice.
Are there any other stand alone merchants here, who have had the same problem?? If so, is there a less painful solution?
