Do you cloak?
I'd like to know what you think of search engine cloaking? Do you also use this technique?
Just to tell you my story:
I used cloaking on one of my sites and from one day to another (after being indexed in Google) I got 2000 to 4000 visitors a day out of nothing. And even better, the visitors converted at about 1:200. I was promoting the Paris Hilton sextape at that time and now conversions are coming down more and more.
I am planing to start some new sites and would like to hear from your experiences with cloaking. Did you get caught, did some SE's removed you from their index?
I know that cloaking is unethical and all this. But hey, there is currently a war going on for good positioning on Search Engines and I just don't have too much money to play fair. It may be false, but that's the way it is. This is reality...
