Will This Site Fly:

I have a new site, though it is not totally functional as of this point in time. My host screwed up on adding the Domain Name (adultsurferforum.net) so the site is currently using its IP. I will change this to the Domain Name, if and when support resolves this problem. In addition send mail does not seem to be working properly and support is supposed to be checking into this.

In the meantime I would appreciate some feedback as to your opinions on the viability of this site and any critisisms or suggestions.

The Webmaster submit form is working so if you care to get in on the ground floor you may submit your sites. The first fifty submitters will not have to use my reciprocal button though of course it would be appreciated.

Well you seem to have a good idea going - but the problem will always be traffic and people to participate. You are not a niche site dedicated to one crowd so you need to tackle things on from multiple traffic crowds.

Well the DNS problem is fixed but Send Mail is still not. My host is supposed to be checking into this. In the meantime it does not do any good for anyone to register as Send Mail is not sending out a password.

Personally...I think you can do better than YaBB for a message board.

This is an idea that I've tossed around in the past, and think that it will work. I've got a vBulletin license laying around here somewhere...if you want to talk maybe we can pool our resources.

As far as the YaBB script: It has its pros and cons, but for a free script I think it is quiet good. Other than the fact that Send Mail is not working with my current Host, and my host is being extremely slow in resolving the problem.

I have done some experimenting and have learned that Send Mail will send mail to my E-mail address, but not to another E-mail address (ie. members E-mail address).

My host has been slow in responding to this problem, so do any of you have any advice to offer?

Is there a way I can solve this problem on my end or is it something with my Hosts Send Mail program and has to be corrected on their end?

Adult Surfer Forum is now functional. Webmasters submit your sites. The first fifty submitters will not have to carry my reciprocal button.
