Ok, looking at the terms you guys talk about, a lot of programs won't accopt 'non-adult sites.' How would you define these as opposed to 'adult' sites? Obviously a site with pics of people fucking each other up the ass is adult, but where is the line drawn between the two? I ask because I'm thinking of building a portal with adult site listings, as well as a whole lot of other stuff like games, articles, health etc.

The site will definitely be aimed at over 18s.

    Cheers.

To avoid any problems it would probably be best to just use a partnership type program for a site like you have planned.

That way you know you will get paid for any sales you make.

It is always just "per click" type programs that specify that you must post their banners on "adult" sites only. If you use a per click program on that site and your ratios suck ass, then they will have an excuse to shitcan you, since your definition of an "adult" site might not be the same as theirs.

If you just use a partnership type program or per signup program then you will not have to worry.

Or if you are dead set on a certain per click program you could just email the company ahead of time and have them OK your site before you join.

      Cheers, sounds like good advice.

Do you guys think that such a site, with the right promotion, etc. would have a chance at making decent cash? Has anybody tried one before?

Well, www.stileproject.com is kind of a twisted version of what you're talking about I think.

Mmmm, interesting; definitely more blatant and twisted than my idea, but pretty good all the same.
