    Dreamweaver BUG!!

Is anyone else having this problem??

When I insert an image, or create an internal link, it all works out fine when I check everything in my browser, but after I FTP it, I see that dreamweaver has added the / character berfore the image or link, & this make the image or link not work?

    ie: img src= /image.jpg
    & href=/page.html

when what I want is it without the /
anyway to stop program from doing this..its pain in ass & time consuming doing this in notepad AFTER I finish w/ dreamweaver!

ALSO, cut & paste fucks up certain characters & dreamweaver translates these characters into html encode..anyway to stop that too..

ie; / becomes 20%..its fucking up the links??

I will always use any product macromedia puts out..I love it..They're the best..I figured it out..I ftp my site to different host & problem went away..It was the host..
The other hosts can handle the / character & html encoding..NOT PORNSUITE THOUGH!!
I deleted everything I had over on pornsuite..Too slow..to many problems when it comes to syntax or encoding..

        Hi everyone!

here is a recurring problem with Dream Weaver for certain signs:

It changes + signs to %2B in the codes when it is uploading the files. If you are using sponsors that are having + in their codes all your traffic will be sent to the site they are sending the traffic by default. Which is not always the one you wish to advertise...

To set this up, you need to go and correct it directly in your html file...

        Steps:
1- Download your HTML source file
2- Change all %2B for + (You can do CTRL F %2B and replace it to + )
        3- Save those changes
4- Upload the new version of your Source file on your server

I hope that will help some of you

Are you setting up a site map?

20% is a space I believe, not a /, but if your site map is not set up right it will cause this, I could be wrong though.

Make sure you are setting the link "Document specific" and not root specific. Also, how are you adding the image? Browse? Make sure that the image is in the site you're adding it to and not a different one.

Make your image 'relative to the document' not 'site root' when you use the insert image function.
