Question about using domains for TGP-posting ...

Currently I'm using smutserver for my TGP-galleries ... it's going ok, but i'm not yet confidend enough to make the step to go to paid hosting for the galleries

I wanted to know if it would be an advantage to host a domain at smutserver so my url aren't that long and maybe get listed a bit more ?

What do you guys/girls think ?

I think your own domain hosted on a free host will increase your changes very little ...
You would still have the advertising of the free host.

A domain does increase your traffic.
I guess there are many tgp that wait to list you until they know who you are and until they are sure that you will not bullshit them. One way to reach this is to use allways the same e-mail, and even a better way is to use a domain.

Definitely, a domain AND paid hosting would be THE way to get traffic on your galleries. Problem is, YOU pay the bill

If I was you, I'd make sure you can convert enough to at leat pay the BW. It's usually not a hard task if you make your gallery clean and interesting
