I have just launched a Webmaster Resource lounge at http://www.avslounge.com/
This lounge is all about AVS systems. I started in AVS's and moved on from there once I was making a shitload of money, it only took me a few months to make more than I was making at my 9-5 job, and I did it with AVS site.
AVS sites IMHO are way easier for newbies to make money with. I started with CyberAge because they 7 cents for every click through you got to your member section and another 11 cents every time someone clicked to goto the signup page and didn't sign up. Thsi was great because when you list a batch of sites on their LinkList, you automaticallly get their membership base going to check out your site, no matter how crappy it was, I was making good beer money my first week.
Plus their members convert to sponsers at 1:50 and better (occasionally with a bad sponser it goes to 1:200, but that's still fucking good), because they are prequalified buyers with credit cards.
