    Annonymous Browsing Software

Anyone familiar with annonymous browsing software? I need something to use at work because our IT dept. is locking down certain sites. I want to be able to browse privately without installiing anything on my computer.

I've heard some great things about www.megaproxy.com service but I've only used the free service. The paid service seems to offer a great deal for a couple bucks a month and it offers a clientless web interface.

Just wanted to know if anyone can give some recommendation on this service.

For your needs Orangatango.com will work well and is cheap.
I've trusted my sites to them for over a decade...

Anonymizer is a good source for anonymity software since Zero Knowledge Software closed its doors in the days after 9/11.

But, if your IT guys are having a cow over the places you're going now, they might not be too happy with adding Anonymizer software to company owned assets.

While its a major security breach, you could hook up a wireless AP to your network and use your own laptop and wireless card and surf wherever you please. Not like that has never happened in an office before.
