    Video Editing and Encoding ? what do you use?

    Okay, let?s hear it. What product do you use on a Windows platform to:

    Capture from your digital video camera?
    Edit your video?
    Encode your video?

    If encoding for .wmv;
    How many and what streams do you use to pack in your *high bandwidth* video file (i.e. 128k, 312k, etc.)?
    How many and what streams do you use to pack in your *low bandwidth* video file (i.e. 128k, 312k, etc.)?

    Well its allways better to edit in AVI. But I am an windows media encoding guy. Rather then encoding so many files just encode one MBR file. The only issue is that you need a windows media server to serve those files.

      Of course it's better to edit in AVI. What I meant by encoding to wmv is, once you're done editing, and if encoding to wmv - how many streams per file do you encode?

      And the last line in my post should have been
      How many and what streams do you use to pack in your *low bandwidth* video file (i.e. 28k, 48k, 96L,etc.)?
