Hi, im going to be working with a high traffic site who wants to offer a live webcam feed to viewers.
I have a VERY good webcam (Axis 2100) which only requires a network connection and it has its own IP. The cam can FTP on its own as well as serve images to a local browser via its on board webserver.
I need help finding a way to get the stream from my cam to the webserver, then redispursed via an application or script on the webserver.
Does anybody have any ideas? I would like to make this as real time as possible, and in the back of my mind, i feel like FTP is way to slow.
