    How much bandwidth?

    Greetings all!

I was wondering how to work out how much bandwidth i would need to allow my site so i dont get kicked off by my host.

The actual site will be no larger than 500kb, but i will be hopping for at least 10,000 visits per day.

most of the hosts list bandwith allowance in Gbytes per month.

so basically how much data transfer should i apply for (in Gbytes), for my site?

    Many thanks!

No way to tell until you see the effects of your marketing. Best thing to do is find a host with upgradeable/scaleable plans. Start with at 10-15GB and monitor your traffic via your stats. Estimate your monthly usage based on your daily usage and upgrade your plan accordingly.

If the 10k visitors browse through your site entirely they each download 500kb, which makes 500mb a day, 15GB a month. You can get 20 Gigs from us at $12.95 a month.

        I think 15 G is enough.
