I am looking to start one but not sure what format would look nice.

You have to learn a lot.
Go to xbiz.com and pornresource.com and read their old articles ( they have some newbie guides too ) for a few hours.

index,main,2 galleries(10 pics min.) i usually go 20-24 total for site

there's a board @ cozy too,read, use the search function before asking questions on the board,that's good place to start
