ARE FLASH BYOT's any good?

For a webmaster to attract users to sign up.. what is the best way to go?

I havnt seen too many flash byot out there...is there a reason?

what do u think about a semi-flash animated BYOT like this one:

A little flash is always good, it eye grabbing but dont over do it, then the viewer will get confused.

true..but has anyone compared the quality loss in a flash animation compared to a gif animation..and size comparisons?

i thougth flash can provide as much detail as an animated gif ..plus more, and also provide a smaller file...

is this true?

Not many people use full flash tours.

I think a tastefully done flash tour could be alright...but that one just sucks ass And not only because of the flash either.
