Premiere is ghetto, batch processing with 6.0 help needed ASAP

Ok so I work for sixnine and I'm batching massive amounts of PPJs, like 900+.

Well Premiere 6.0 is ghetto and the select folder doesn't work, you have to add them one by one.

Does anyone have a remedy for this?

    Please!

    thx

Wow, like I had 150 and I thought that was big.

Nearest I could work out was that batch is sort of limited and more "if you acquire with time code - you can batch off the tape" but it is a bitch for all types of reasons like the first and last 30 secs, your camera reversing and forwarding etc.

I just ended up grabbing models off the big timeline, cutting right down and saving to disk by trimming to project.
Brought the extra disks to avoid going back to tape.

Create a new project, include the big time line again, cut it down for a different model and trim to disk so it is on the HDD but smaller space.

I still have the original project that can go and get a restore from tape, but created the new project that saves to disk.

There is no neat way, but to me having on disk was best.

Only problem is if the cuts and fades are in the 2nd project you end up creating, they are not in the first project. Also fades and effects are copied to the 2nd project but need to be manually updated/redone.

So if i want to batch i include the 30 projects on that disk and run overnight. Next day swap disk and batch again.

You owe me one, took a lot of time to figure out.
Then again I probably did not answer your problem.
