Is there a way to prevent embedded videos opening the website they were sourced from when a viewer clicks a second time on the video currently playing in my website?

I hope that makes sense.

That is typically built into their custom player so you just don't hotlink their bandwidth for free.

You can use a custom player for the embedded videos so you can control the ads et cetera.
