Help, redirect visitors from different ref url's

I need to redirect people coming from some refering URLs.

So if they are coming from www.shitty.com they will be
redirected to a url I specify.

I have tried many different .htaccess solutions but it just
doesn't work !!?? I know rewrite engine is on and all.

Please help !
