I remember the good days when just about any adult forum would be perfectly fine with straight up gallery links being posted. There are a few forums out there that still allow gallery links, but the question is ...how much traffic do they get and is there going to be any benefit for you as a result of posting to them?

once a board or tube has been infected by full-length stolen video, you can't make any sales. if you make sales, you are selling to pirates or fans of pirates. they'll use their membership to steal videos so they can bump up their street cred at the board or tube.

a large percentage of the porn market now is pirates and guys who think porn is free. there's a whole generation out there that doesn't understand why porn sites charge for memberships.

one of your biggest challenges as a site owner is convincing surfers to pay you. if your reasons are good enough, you can convert the tubes and pirate boards too. one of our biggest solo sites started her career by posting on torrents for free. she gained a huge audience and decided to open a paysite. now she's making bank.
