    Content production cost?

I've decided that I want to start producing my own content. I am wondering what the process is, and what the costs typically are.

Here is what I am thinking:

    1. Post an ad on craigslist looking for girls who are open to nude shoots and want to make some extra money

    2. Pick a model, agree on terms ( 1 to 2 hours of shooting?)

    3. Procure shooting location whether it be a hotel or some other rented space

    4. Do the shoot

    5. Sell the content

Prerequisites: Have decent camera and plan for what kind of content to shoot

    Budget:
    Girl: $200 - $500
    Space: ~$100

Is this realistic? Or should I expect to spend more?

It depends where are you living.

It's a lot of variables involved. What type of look you want determines the location which determines the price. The talent is always completely negotiable. But I would factor in a extra hour or two depending on what's going on at the shoot. And be direct with your ads when your looking for girls.
For an amateur looking solo shoot with an amateur girl, 400-600 including location can work.

It is not about making it, it is ALL about selling it and making money.... With one clip its a waste of time, money and energy... May as well get a hooker and get your jollies that way...

Unless you are prepared to do a unique niche and in multiples ( I guess a minimum of 10 hours of finished programming) you will be wasting money...

In this business ( and any business) it is all about making money not "diddling"

Maybe OP is more interested in the pleasure of doing this than by the money he could do with this? ;)
