Tech Wordpress Plug-In Ideas

Hi folks,

Among other things I develop wordpress plug-ins. I know a lot of webmasters here use wordpress. I wonder if anyone has some good suggestions for wordpress plug-ins I could build? Maybe something that hasn't already been done (or isn't being done well).

If I like any of the ideas put forward and think they could sell i'd be happy to offer a free copy to those who put forward the idea.

A really good plugin you could make for cammers would be an online/offline toggle.

So you login to your site, go to the plugin, toggle if you are online camming or not, with a link to the room you're in. If they're offline, you can put in details of the next time you are camming.

This is something I was planning on coding myself, but if you're willing, i won't object to doing less work XD

that's an interesting idea. A plug-in such as this would also need to facilitate live streaming to work properly though. Do you think the plug-in you are proposing would piggy-back of another live streaming or webcams platform? Or do you think the plug-in would need to facilitate live streaming on its own?

How would you prefer they worked what features would your importer need?

Neither. I was thinking of a manual one, not an automatic one.

Very happy with the results, and I would recommend working with him

I made a real cookie-cutter adult social sharing plugin once. Had Twitter, Tumblr, Sex.com, Snatchly (back in the day) Smutty.com and a couple other buttons. Used it for a photoblogging site. Wanted all adult networks, because i'ts not like you're going to be pinning porn to Pinterest or sharing it on Facebook.

Feel free to take my idea and run with it. I'm sure the webmaster community could use a good adult-sharing plugin. As an SEO scheme, you can always add a backlink into the plugin.


One that I would be very interested in is a membership functionality that somehow plays nicely with Paxum. There's plenty of membership site plugins that run off of PayPal, but PayPal doesn't like porn. If you can develop that, I'll give you some PR love on a camming resource niche site I'm running, as well as a couple adult webmaster resource sites. If this was a premium plugin, I'd pay for the dev rights.

Automatic post from your wp site to social site. One that could be true launch and forget about it.
Must have all social fields ie area for to set tags, descriptions, etc. Must post thumb and link to that page on site..
Should not need to always be reloaded, just set it to run all posts or something.

I have one, payed $30. For it. Its pissing me off. Always got to reload it grrr. Every time I have to run that many reloads it pisses off hostgators server and if I don't constantly run table optimization site crashes. Then I have to actually do some work and contact HGS tech support grrr.
You can see it in action by watching my twitter page a few mins. Its cron is set to feed every 10-15 mins.

@lollipopx I like this idea. A social network automater tool like this would save a lot of time. I know i'd use it myself for one. I'll review what's out there now and research what needs to be done in order to make it 'set and forget' as you say.

Get with me on skype or even dm on twitter. Mine seems to have broke or developed issues and xyzs techs are clueless. I am not happy camper with them or the plugin.
