Yes, you are correct that it is no longer updated.

But, we are working on a network of 40 of these sites, and have made significant updates to the smart plugs to further automate the entire system.

Part of the benefit of them, are definitely the ease-of-use. Some of the CMS out there, you need a degree in engineering to understand LOL

Personally, I think that I would use SmartCj. Go for what is the most popular now (supported, there is a forum, things like that). I would not want to invest in the sites, when a program is no longer supported...

Sure, I totally understand that if you plan to make an investment.

But from my perspective, I had a bunch of unused domain names, the first four sites generated me $10 to $15 a day. So why not build some more? I have the templates, the script is free, so it's just a matter of a few domain names.

I have some smart CJ sites also. Those are much more like real tube sites. These are much more simplistic, and are basically set up only to generate some advertiser income.
