Need some constructive criticism on my website

Hi all,

I have this domain for a long time (pornolho com) and right after the first try my full time job dragged me and I ended up with no time for the site.

Now im willing to try again, but much more to learn for a future website and try out thinks, im not expecting to earn big money with this one (not that i wouldn't like)

The idea is mix some news with free content and try to get something with ads and affiliate programs. I started to change it a week ago.

Anyone willing to give me some constructive criticism on my website i would appreciate, also any tips from where I could get some traffic for it as I dont see MGP/TGP/TUBE good for this porpuse (right?)

When I land on your homepage, it's not clear to me what the website is for (from a user point of view). I see some porn industry news and I also see porn

Are you targeting people that want to have a wank or are you targeting people that care about porn industry news? I can't imagine that there's a lot of cross-over between the two.

If you're using the news articles as an "excuse" to generate backlinks, then I would consider relocating them to domain.com/news or something.

I might be misunderstanding the intent, though.

In reality, I'm trying to target both, I know that most of wankers don't care about the news, and probably a horny guy will not stop to ready anything.

On the other side, maybe someone reading the news can be interested in a specific topic and search for let´s say a website or actress.

So I agree with the cross-over, and soon I will need to choose a side, I just don´t want to have a ordinary free website.

Maybe another suggestion?

It looks like that you have already chosen side. The whole layout is built for news. It's unclear that is there even porn. There just reads "categories", categories of what? News, porn pics, or what? (the subheadlines don't help) And even after clicking category it's still confusing, and the gallery is confusing also. The "heat map" for the gallery is not what it is supposed to be, it requires scrolling to see even the first picture in full (I have 1680x1050 monitor).

Hopefully this doesn't seem too harsh, as it isn't my intention.

I like it Bruno! Not bad at all. There needs to be more sites out there that offer news and more content that not just pushing affiliate programs. Relative news and write ups should help you gain organic traffic. Thinking out of the box. I dig it! Do you think our program here at Mr. Skin Cash would be a good fit? Perhaps posting about celebs? I will do some tweaks in order to make "categories" clear.

About the heat map, the site was not build to be a TGP, maybe I find a better way to display the thumbs to make it easier and also a different category page layout.

Don't worry, it wasn't harsh..
