I want to move from my existing hosting company.....What a Racket! Moved me to a Server with a Blacklisted IP address, and trying to extort more money from me to fix it. I'm ready to make a move,a nd need it to be seemless and painless!

I've solicited quotes from Mojo and ServerHub Such a wide separation on price between the two. I'm guessing the difference in price is based on service level?!?

Not sure what I want to do.....Need some advice.

What are you looking for exactly ? Bandwidth, Managed or unmanaged, space approx, ect.

VPS, the SoYouStart category or the dedicated are amongst the best and most reliable you can find. Support won't help you with anything that isn't server related, but if you can do it yourself they're A+ and are pretty good at monitoring your servers.

Otherwise... Yes.. You'll have to pay for the service and you'll have to find something that suits your needs well. And it'll not be cheap.

OVH is a good choise indeed and online.net too - also unmanaged provider. For initially setup configuration and installation i recommend http://r00t-services.net/ These germans are not cheap but definetly they are decents in what they are doing.

OVH is absolute shit. As someone who has been with OVH for a few months, I regret paying for 6 months. I've already moved over because of their instability, their shitty customer service and their wrong configurations. I'm warning you to not go with OVH (this includes Kimsufi and SoYouStart since they're all under the same parent company), if you want someone that'll take care of you and will provide a good service, try Linode or DigitalOcean. Yes, OVH is cheap, but their servers are shitty and (probably) oversold. Asmallorange is good as well, so is online and hetzner.

OVH is pretty decent in my book, have two servers rent there an no major problem so far. I agree about support part instead
Hetzner does not allow adult content unfortunetly.

100% disagree with you.

Was with Kimsufi for over two years. (cheapest of the OVHs) Never an issue. Just some start up problems bec of the kernels they used in their CentOS.

Went to SYS been with them for a year. 100% uptime. Never a single glitch. Been on the OVH hosting server now for $109 a month. And its running over 300 websites for me without even breaking a sweat.

If people want to pay triple - go with others. But these servers are solid. Absolute monsters.
