Best Live video streaming server software

I am currently using the ftp jpg push softwares (webcam32 and the likes) for streaming live video which does not provide enough ftp's for a subscription model. What are the better streaming softwares out there? Emulive software seems to be more in tune to my needs. Any other suggestions?
