Hallo everyone,

Beamerz here and i'm about to do some themes that i will offer for sale.

I'm new to this market (Adult).

A week ago started my first tube based on wpXtube.

Also i bought this week Tubeace. What is the deal for an responsive template?


Now my question are how do you serve mobile content with it? Is it even possible? Because all those movies loading an flashplayer. What i don't get is that lot's of those movies are mp4? So what's the deal on html5 player?

Because i'm not a programmer i can't awnser those questions.

There for it would be nice to an build in trigger that auto detects devices with no flash onboard and than loading the html5 player with compatible content.


Also i hope to hear some alternatives for those problems!

Responsive theme will adapt itself to different devices (like mobile and tablets).

If you use flashplayer - people on mobile and tablets will not be able to watch those videos since those devices do not support Adobe Flash. So you'll need a script to detect if flash is present/or device and to use HTML5 player for devices not supporting flash and flashplayer for the ones that do. To use HTML5 player you should encode clips as MP4 (and not as FLV).

Yes i know that maybe you miss understood my question/problem.

Why should i make or not make themes responsive as those scripts don't support both? If mobile users can't watch those vids on mobile what use have an responsive theme only to show the contents of it?

If we talk as example wpXtube... They are VIPRevenue and AVRevenue... If you look to the feed... it says!

When you look @ it. For me i don't see any problem for support and load an mp4 in html5 player or not? So it supports mobile

You may take note that most adult visitors use either their computer or tablets.

Smartphones are really at the low end of the traffic amount.

You can set up an auto detect script to redirect mobile traffic to a different version of your site. Reponsive themes don't do that well on smartphones.

I know we use jwplayer to have a flash fallback if they don't support html5 pseudo-streaming.

That way you can guarantee that most devices will view the videos.
