Choosing referral programs

just wondering what features do you guys look at when joining a new referral program?

is it revshare?
free content?
decent marketing material?

what makes you tick

I like to stick within my niche.

I guess I look at several things subconsciously when I'm at a sponsors website... plus track record of friends helps...

1) have I seen it before? seen it 100,000 times? I tend to try fresh or obscure sponsors while relying on a few standby's.

2) do they have hosted galleries? do they have really good content for posting tgp's that is actually in line with the niche it goes with. Nothin like big Ol fatties in a teen site...

3) do they have very specific niche sites that go well with my own content I buy? I like to have a few pics of the girls I use a lot and compare them to the sponsors advertising... will they pass as the same chick?


One thing I do is drop in the Hun once a week to see what he's posting, that sometimes helps me decide on on a campaign.

Features? Whatever seems to convert for my traffic for certain niches and reliability of company (getting paid and on time, support, etc.).

what about using sponsors that use CCBILL, IBILL etc.. what are your likes and dislikes?
