Don't know about your bounce rate, but ditch the hidden-but-not-technically-hidden text at the bottom of the page. Google will nail your ass for that

I get about 20-25% returning visitors. Most of my traffic are SE and direct. I have popunder ads from plugrush and juicyads. Is there a way to disable the pop ads for mobile devices?

I will get rid of the gifs and put three thumbs of each category with links that lead to the video. Let me know what you guys think.

This is crazy. I changed my homepage, now my bounce rate has increased by 2% for the past 2 days. If this trend continues for the next couple of days, I will change it back to the original. 40% bounce rate is better than 42%.

^^^I gotta agree with armysmoke and PikaPoka. The main page is quite plain, I like that it isn't plastered with ads but half the page is blank, it just makes the site look half-finished. Also, as it's currently designed a surfer will have no idea whether your site offers pics or videos until they actually click one of the thumbs, and because the thumbs are around the same size as is typically used for ads I half-suspected I was going to be redirected to another site. To me the thumbs kind of looked like ads.

Maybe add some text (at least a slogan like Pika suggested) to show the viewer what your site offers and arrange the images to have a bit more visual impact? You have some pretty long videos on the site that probably fit exactly what your SE traffic is looking for, point is from the home page they'd never know it.
