Help a newbie

I'm starting a couple of sites from scratch. One is a tube site, the other a picture site.
Where can I get a lot of content for free?
The tube site is mostly straight content with some gay/shemale stuff.
The picture site is mostly erotica/teens.
Which affiliates would you recommend? I read it's not a good idea to get affiliated til I got some traffic.
I read a couple of posts here and a lot of people recommend good SEO and original descs. I got both of those but no idea where to scrap for content.
Also, is traffic buying/trading a good idea at the beginning?
Some said it could make Google suspicious and that it's better to wait til things are decently established.
Another recommendation I got was setting fb, twitter and tumblr accounts to generate awareness.

SOme tips for tgps is turning your better fhg galleries, if your using a CTR system (Click Threw Ratio) into hosted galleries.

Concerning buying feeder, I would buy small amounts in the beginning .

Thanks for the tips. By hosted galleries you mean hosting them in the same server I have my site instead of simply linking them to the affiliate site? Excuse my complete ignorance.

I prefer to call them self hosted galleries instead of free hosted galleries when you host them your self .

FHGs are hosted on the affiliate program's servers, and self-hosted galleries are on your own. If you host galleries or videos yourself you have to worry about bandwidth and resource issues.

if you want to be original - you will have to find models and shoot them yourself.

.. or buy photos from GFY members (just make sure that they are sold by owners and come with model release form).

.. otherwise you will be another copycat (like thousands others in this industry).

Thanks for the clarification and all the advice. What about payment? I ready paypal isn't recommended for people who directly sell the material, but since I only play on taking commissions for sending the people to the sites or by selling traffic, would there by any trouble?

Paypal only works for adult in Europe via Epoch. If you want to setup an affiliate program and go for billing I'd go with CCBill.

There is also sometimes Flash stream embeds which are hosted on the affiliate program's server but play directly when clicked on your site usually in a little player window.
