If you are asking whether or not adult sites are allowed on that TLD, then the answer is currently that they are.

If you are asking whether or not it is a good TLD to use for an adult site name, well that's subjective and a different story...

If you have a sweet domain name (like xxx.pw or adult.pw or something) on the .pw TLD, then I'd say go for it, as it can help with type-in traffic amongst other things. Otherwise, you'd be better off with a more "mainstream" TLD (.com, .net, .org, .xxx etc.) or a country-code TLD that fits with the domain name in a semantic way (like goo.gl or del.icio.us).

Having said that, search engines honestly do not care for the most part. It is purely a brand-recognition strategy as to what you choose. I personally am biased towards .com for mainstream sites as I feel like if a business is serious about what they do, they will pony up for a decent domain. My opinion of adult is slightly more lax simply because there is so much spam and so many squatters out there that it can be really hard to get a solid .com anymore unless you've got a lot of cash.

To summarize, I am generally cautious about specific country TLDs unless I am targeting that country (like .us or .co.uk), so I would avoid .pw save for the above exceptions.
