    Ready for critique

Hello there, I am very new to the forums.. Been reading a lot.

I started my own shemale blog recently to start first as a hobby and build up good content and hopefully receive traffic which I can then gradually focus on monetizing.

I would love for anyone to have a look at my blog and give me some critique please, tell me if I'm on the right direction.

So far I have one vertical banner and links set-up with blog directories and from linkspun trades.

Traffic stats each day 5,9,26,36 and increasing.

Any guidance is appreciated. (I tried plugrush but the iframe is a nightmare with WP sidebar, tried everything and it won't work...)

    Thanks All

    1. More content.
    2. Use featured images instead of displaying every thumb on you home page. This could be a problem once you have more galleries up since the user's browser will end up loading tons of image files and the page could take forever to load. You'll probably have to alter you template files, but it's not to difficult. Here is a good tutorial if you're interested. http://www.dynamicwp.net/articles-an...-in-wordpress/
If not, there's a good plugin called Special Recent Posts Pro that gives you a lot of customization options and then produces both a shortcode or a template code so you can easily implement it into your page without needing any addition knowledge. The only drawback is that it costs $6 I think, but definitely worth it.
    3. Get more content.
    4. Finally, if you need a logo, banners, or any other design help, I could certainly be of service

I would have to agree with the above, don't even think about traffic or monetizing until you have some more content. Otherwise you aren't likely to get many repeat visitors, which means you won't be able to sustain any traffic figures you measure.

@fonsolo - the plugin you mentioned, is that not just for recent posts widget?

How will this aid me in reducing my thumbnails on my posts?

Instead of displaying the entire content of every one of your posts on the front page, it will only display the featured image and title or several other options. This way not every single image you have will need to load on your front page.

Look at the first site in my sig. You'll notice that all of my posts only exist on my home page as single thumbnails, in an unordered list, displayed inline, devoid of text. Normally, it would show the featured image, and then the entirety of the post, but since I altered the code in my template files, it only shows the Featured image. It seems like an option like this should be come default with the WP platform, but to my knowledge it hasn't as of yet.
