Linking to Regular sites ?

We all know that linking to adult sites from regular sites is bad....Google wise.

but what about the reverse ? Like if I wanted to link to a web hosting site from an adult site . still bad or no ? (google ranking wise)

As long as the site(s) that you are linking to have not been flagged for malware or anything detrimental to their own search engine rankings, linking to a non-adult site from an adult site shouldn't hurt your rankings at all.

I try to ask these questions on webmasterworld, but as soon as I bring up 'adult site' stuff , they ignore me like i'm scum or something....
