    Html editor

    Hi

Been using HTML KIT as my editor and it has started missing up BAD.
Most of the time when I click preview it pops up and if I click one of the thumbs or description links it shuts down and shuts down Fire Fox too!

Have had enough of this s***t!

I need suggestions on another real easy to use Freeware HTML editor please.

Where are you trying to download from. I just pulled it from http://notepad-plus-plus.org/download/v6.3.html and all looked good. I just did the installer download and let it make the decisions btw.

It went through at that link

I searched on it before and didn't know which place to download it from, I downloaded the first time from one of those 'Free ware link places.

When it downloaded I didn't change anything, I let it download without normal and left all settings in it alone
                  ------------------------------------------------------------------------

Thanks for all the help everybody

                  I'm back to building again.
I'm doing my blogs in a sort of draft way, then when I get ready to load it I hope it will make it easier to get going to start with

                    Question

How do I view in Notepad plus plus what I coded ?

I tried in Firefox, Chrome and I.E
They all give me an error page saying this on top of page is wrong

I have this at top of html page in editor

                    <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01 Transitional//EN">

i cant post links, the issue seems that the url for the dtd files is missing, i cant post a corrected header as its a link but google "html transitional dtd" and the top link from w3c should give the example of how to format the declaration.
