I heard that it is better to stay from both of these tools to get better rankings in Google. Is it true?
Google Webmaster Tools, Google Analytics

I'd almost have to agree with this statement. I've got most of my sites on there and none of them are doing well at all. -
since google can crawl your site and rank it anyways, I doubt it?
I dunno, I'm kinda curious as to who else weighs in here. I use google analytics on both my sites and they're doing very well, but that's only cuz I'm using analytics to fix the mistakes I made when I was creating the sites, not having a clue as to what I was doing.
According to google I still have duplicate content I cannot figure out, as the duplicate URLs point to pages that do not fucking exist.

google analytics may hurt you if it brings extra attention to problems google would have eventually found anyways? A double edged sword: attention is necessary for a good position in the SERPs, but that attention from google can detect issues that may negatively impact SEO. That would be my guess anyways. Still, since google will crawl your site either way...I'm not quite sure how analytics would hurt you there
Maybe it could hurt you if you're trying to create a site farm and circle links between them, with the intention of hiding the origins of those links from google? I have separate analytics accounts for each of my sites for ease-of-use purposes, but I don't care if google knows I own them both. If I was trying to conceal that I'd definitely not use analytics, though
I'll definitely be checking back to see what people with more experience have to sayComment

I used to think this but its a load of balls my sites have started to renk better when i use themComment

Bullshit. Just plain bullshit. Onle remote reason you would avoid them, is if you are doing heavy blackhat stuff... but in that case you also need to use different registrars, different IPs, different names to register domains and bla bla bla..Feet4Cash - Join the first 100% foot fetish affiliate program! I know that Google does not like networks of sites (20, 50, 100), they just wont let them rank. If the sites share the same Analytics code, this is a good way for them to find out. The same goes for the Webmaster Tools.
I also heard about people getting all of their sites penalized (for some black hat seo on just one of them), just because of the fact they were sharing the same Google Analytics account (not the same code).
I guess I am talking more about networks of sites. 50, 100 websites or more. I know that Google penalized networks of blogs a while ago too.
On the other hand it is kind of hard, if not impossible to hide a network like that. I am obviously not going to be getting a sepearate hosting for sets of 3-5 sites (out of 50 in the network) etc...Comment

Thumbs up for google analytics
I can't live without them, they have been very useful to me (at a novice level) so far.Comment

Not true at all.. the only reason to not use them is if you run a big network of sites and are trying to hide the fact that they're all yours. In this case, using the same analytics and webmaster tools accounts creates a clear footprint... as does your CMS, your themes, your affiliate ID's, your IP's, etc. So if you don't need to hide footprints than there's no reason to worry.Adult SEO Partners - Full service Adult SEO Agency serving some of the biggest names in the industry.Comment

If you are trying to run a legitimate adult site, it will only help you and allow you to better control the way that Google sees your site. If you are trying to game the system, it is better to stay off of their radar whenever possible.Tent Pitcher - Adult Search EngineComment

Yea, I almost certain that this just happened to me at the beginning of the month, and I only had 2 sites with the same Analytics account. I say certain because I definitely wasn't doing anything else at the time that would have warranted such a large drop on all my keywords - even my domain keyword lol.I know that Google does not like networks of sites (20, 50, 100), they just wont let them rank. Your ranks wouldn't take just because you shared the same Analytics account.Yea, I almost certain that this just happened to me at the beginning of the month, and I only had 2 sites with the same Analytics account. It's more likely that you got dinged for something else, these days the most common reason for lost ranks is over-optimized links from low value pages.. like from low quality link trades. Other reasons for sudden rank drops include losing a high value link that was giving you a boost or a high value link being devalued itself for whatever reason.. causing less value to pass through to your site.Adult SEO Partners - Full service Adult SEO Agency serving some of the biggest names in the industry.Comment

The only reason I assumed it was the joint analytics account was because the drop happened within 3 days of adding the second site to it. But I could certainly see how I may be over-optimizing my anchor text with certain links as well. Thanks for the heads upYour ranks wouldn't take just because you shared the same Analytics account.
