What else is there besides affilate programs?

I thought I read somewhere about networks being better than affiliate programs. I noticed that most affiliate programs want to pay a % of user spent vs pay per sign up. Im a little confused. Are there any other programs than just affiliate programs.

I also understand that you can also use ad words as well and sell banner traffic. Is PPC better than affilites? thanks. :D

You can start your own program with your own billing.

You can get paid for impressions, raw, blind, popunder FPC.

If you start to build certain niche traffic you can sell banner space.
