ok im trying to install the emulive server 4 software on my windows box, but teminal services has the display set at 256 colors, and i need atlease 24 bit to install the software.

do any of you know what i can do to get the remote desktop conenction to other than 256 colors? BTW i have already set the options in my remote dektop clint but there being overode on the server side.

You cannot override the settings as windows 2K sets them to 256 when a client logs on,

If you only need more than 256 for installation of the product then install VNC (Like Terminal Server) on the server, connect with VNC Viewer and install application then uninstall VNC from the server and carry on using Terminal Server.
