Sorry not to make this clear. Well, I have read that as the first thing to be done when starting a marketing plan, one should take a look at his competitors. And that this should include finding out who is doing the affiliate work for them. This is probably a better question, the only thing you need to ask about your competitors is can we convert better or pay more because that's really the only thing it will take to get affiliates to use your program over someone elses.

It looks like you've had your site online for years but are just looking for affiliates? Most "known" affiliates are operating on the 'give away the house and rent out the barn' model which I doubt you want to do. Real sites lose their charm when promoted by boring old webmasters anyhow. I am taking about the technique of how to search for good affiliates, I know how to run my site in great shape, how to make great content and convertibility as the final result.
