Making image files smaller?

I'd like to know if there is a way to reduce the KB size of my images without significantly compromising quality? Thanks

Most jpgs show well at 80-90% quality, there is a slight drop in quality (if you zoomed right in) but the size is reduced massively.

I would say you would be best experimenting with file types and quality levels and see what works best for you

If you're using photoshop, there's a save as web element feature and it has multiple web optimization tools.

I think there are many jpeg optimizing programs, google is your friend

There is really many programs to do such conversions. Try JPEG Imager.... Google will help you to find one.
