So, obviously, I am new. I was wondering how people get their thread at the top of the listing and wonder'd what all the 'bump' comments were about. So i made a comment that said 'bump bump' and suddenly my post is at the top. Someone help me understand this please.?!?!

A bump is basically just a random post to push the thread back to the top of the list with the most recently commented/added threads (as they are sorted by most recent post) in order to get it noticed again...

Nice, one guys, Bump as it has been pointed out is to get the post back to the top.

It is usually done with newer posts, it is only done with older posts if you can add something which will add to the post.
