Why would you ask complete strangers for money? If you must beg, beg your family or friends. This is stupid. Have you no pride? I could never ASK strangers to GIVE me money, no matter how deep in shit I've been. No, actually, I HAVE been there, didn't ask a stranger for a penny. Instead, I busted my balls and worked even harder to get the money needed.

Why not try and be respectable by offering your services or by selling some of your goods? You must have some marketable skill, sell it. Either that, or cut down on your expenses. Why would you expect someone to give you money just because your expenses match your income? The rest of the world finds a way to cut down, you should try it.

This is true, although we don't know how dire his situation is and if he's already exhausted all the means he knows of. I personally wish him the best but I am hoping that as with everything there isn't a bad offspring from this. If he's successful at getting much money we are going to see an onslaught of others attempting the same thing, many probably not for genuine reasons and this board will be full of beggars, and I'm not saying this guy is a beggar but there are some out there for sure.
