I would only do it if I had people I could trust doing the job I normally do, but $10K savings isn't much where I live. Also if I take time off I find it difficult to get my momentum back

looking at average income in my country, for many people $10k is a little bit more than a month's pay. It's not alot of money at all.

It's exactly what I'm doing right now. I just finished a crazy schedule of two big animation jobs that lasted for about 6 months -- and let me sleep about 2 hours a night most of the time. After final payments were made in late March, I've been doing nothing but watching movies, playing PS3, and taking 10 mile walks with my dog.

I don't have another job until late May, and I'm fine with it.
