if there is no need to have some special software installed or bandwidth limits, I would recommend using Reseller Hosting rather than VPS since it's managed and you don't have to worry about anything .... I also recommend Certified Hosting reseller packages...

I concur, same thing I have. There support is always on hand to take care of problems if they do arise.

Depends you can limit vps just like shared accounts. But they take more resource to run. Why not just do regular shared? The only difference is root access and more load on the server. Most hosts will run any ssh needs for you, which is probably safer.

With that said our VPS is $99 and only has three per server. Most services put around 100 on each server.

I couldn't figure out how to get VMware to work, And i think i did get it for 50php when i was in the Philippines. I did have a nifty one working with an Operating System called CentOS. I'm sure there is a lot better out there but can find plenty of downloads for that OS on the interweb.

Pretty basic to setup, but i would make sure you have a space computer laying around you could format and use that as your hosting server.

You just gave me an idea to start a reliable hosting company.
