I was wondering if anyone knows where to acquire a newsgroup decoder script? A good example is, http://www.thumbnailednewsgroups.com
If not that particular one, would someone happen to know of a similar product?

What you want is a program that get binary attachments out of the messages and copy them directly to your folder right ?

if you are looking for a web interface to news then dnews has one as part of its newserver there are some others. If you are looking for a perl script that will access news and save messages for you then I dont recall ever seeing one but if someone was trying to write one they better read up on the perl module Net::NNTP
