I have asked quoite a few webmasters this same question, and it rally depends ont he type of site and the content included in the model

But for General HardCore "straight", I am guessing around 2.5 months

No - thats why the sponsor pays you $40 a signup - they dont really make any money, they just want to be nice to you

At Jokedollars.com, the program we promote seems to have 80% of subscribers continue staying with us, and still no unsubscriptions since the first round of rebills!! Yahooooo.

Anyone have any female traffic? If so, hit me on aim or icq... solidmak and 20762139 respectively.

I have promoted 2 large sponsors on the deals where I get paid if the person stays and so far like 10% last past the trial.
Topbucks has revshare is anyone excited about promoting it?

I'm not sure how people estimate retention exactly...but for my site I calculate each month like this:

                Total Members on 1st
                +
                New Signups During Month
                ----------------------------------
                Total Possible Members

                then I take the:

                Total Possible members
                divided by
                Total Actual Members on 30th
                ----------------------------------
                Retention ratio

My personal ratios range between 69% to 78%, but that's for an AVS site which tend to retain better than paysites. I still have a handful of members from the very first month I opened my site on Pro Adult over a year ago.

                Hope that helps!

I won't tell you what my rentention is on my sites, but I will tell you it's more than 2.5 months. I'm running a business; The longer members stay the more money I (and my webmasters) make. So I pull out all of the stops.

                  Here's some of my tricks:
                  - Original never seen before content in a real member's area, updated on a weekly basis (or more often).
                  - Over 150 different feeds
                  - Our girls answer their own email, do journals, and have auctions of their clothes from photo shoots.
