    CD to mp3 extractor?

    I got about 40 cd's i wanna put on mp3.. what's the fastest proggie out there to use? the one im using now takes like 6-7mi per cd! too long!

      It isn't the software as much it is the speed of the computer and how much ram you have that makes the difference.

          1.3AMD with 512ddr 266, my old TDK 16X burner was faster than my 52X LG to rip... weird

            Takes me 10 mins per cd and I have a 1.3 amd with 512 ddr. ALso, sound card can actualy play a big part in it depending on how your system is configured. Almost all new soundcards such as the sblive can speed up encoding enough if configured properly to counteract slow rip speeds. Your cdreader may take forever to read, but ocne the mku chip in the sblive gets ahold of the data it will encode it on the fly. But I guess if yoru reader is as slow as a floppy that won't make much difference.
