    Any Delphi programmers here?

    How hard is it to reverse engineer a program in written in Delphi?

      depends, you can get the forms and such if they included the debug code on compile but pretty impossible to get any actual code.

                  You might be able to do it with visual interdev. Just use the decompile function...

                          I programmed in Delphi about 20 years ago (they used to call it "Turbo Pascal") and most recently around 7 years ago.

                          Still have one client using a program I wrote in it.

                          You can't decompile it - it generates object code. At the most you would get an assembly language output in machine byte code, pretty much useless.

                          If you have the source code there is no need to reverse engineer - anybody who knows C++ or Java can learn Pascal in a day.

                                  I have also been doing Delphi for 10 years, need something written?

                                  Also do Apache C modules, PHP, Perl, Python, Java, and work with all DB's, Im also an Oracle DBA.

                                      Chris need any books?? Forget about the delphi stuff i needed i spoke to the original programmer and he is doing a custom gig for me.
