    Would using Wordpress be unprofessional...

I'm in the design phase of building a site right now and I'm torn on how to develop it.

I'd like to consider myself an 'advanced' Wordpress developer, yet I have little experience in other open source CMS systems and even less in custom PHP / MySql development.

The site I am working on is a cross between a cam site and a Gods Girls / Suicide Girls social network.

I need to allow girls to set up profile pages, write blog posts, connect with fans, etc. I think a Wordpress MU installation (With custom menus and dashboard styling) would work well for this, what I'm really concerned with though is how 'professional' using Wordpress for this kind of site would seem.

    Any thoughts??

Some of the Big Guns use Wordpress, if Wordpress can do what you require then you don't need to reinvent the wheel

      Any idea who?

I'm pretty confident it can handle what I need

I've seen them posted before in similar threads, but I don't remember off the top of my head. Someone else will no doubt know
